Jon Jones had no trouble with Anthony Smith, and Kamaru Usman dominated Tyron Woodley in the featured bouts at UFC 235 Saturday night.
Jones defended his light heavyweight title, sweeping the scorecards at 48-44. He was deducted two points for an illegal knee, but Smith opted to continue the bout instead of taking a likely disqualification victory.
Usman, meanwhile, beat on Woodley for 25 minutes to become the new UFC welterweight champion.
Robbie Lawler nearly became the first fighter to defeat Ben Askren, but the former Bellator titleholder withstood a pounding and scored a submission victory.
