Synergy FC 32 puts a cage on the water at Lazy Gators in Lake Ozark, Missouri, on Friday, September 18, in the middle of Lake of the Ozarks Bike Fest. Nine bouts of MMA and kickboxing are set, topped by a professional welterweight main event between Thomas Solorio and Clark Stith. Every fight streams live on MMAFutures.com.
Synergy FC 32 is powered by Springfield Vapors & Cannabis, with support from LOZ Peptides and LOZ All Around Movers.
Synergy FC 32 Main Event: Thomas Solorio vs. Clark Stith | Pro MMA | Welterweight
Two professionals who have each won their only pro fight meet at 171 pounds to close the night. Thomas Solorio came up on Synergy cards as an amateur. He returns as a pro, and as the main event.
“I know I’m vain, right? I’m vain,” Solorio said in an exclusive MMA Futures pre-fight interview. “But I kinda always knew I was the main event.”
Thomas Solorio
Solorio, 30, grew up in Garden City, Kansas, and has lived in Wichita for about eight years. He played college baseball before he found a gym. Around 2020 he started boxing under Kevin Johnson at Press 5 Boxing Club and training jiu-jitsu, and today he splits his days between Press 5 in the morning and Laselva MMA in the evening, where Jay Saldino runs his MMA and kickboxing work.
He is direct about what he is. “I am not a boxer,” he said. “I train with professional boxers, just like I train with black belts and D1 wrestlers. I’m an MMA fighter.” His own description of his style is shorter: “Shoot box, baby.” A striker first, he said, who is not afraid to grapple.
He turned pro at 30, and said the number drove the timing: “Thirty, bro. I don’t got a lot of time in the game.”
Synergy fans may remember his amateur run. At Synergy FC 18 in February 2025, Solorio beat Justice Compton by unanimous decision over three rounds. Compton is on this card too, in a kickboxing bout. “I’m glad he’s still fighting,” Solorio said. “I hope he goes out there and puts on a good show.”
Kevin Johnson, performance coach Justin Martinez of New Breed Performance, and Joseph “Jojo” Ben Wells, the training partner who first got him into the gym, work his corner. Back in Wichita, the bar where he works streamed his pro debut and plans to stream this one.
As for Friday: “I’m gonna go out there and put on a show,” he said. “I’m gonna win in spectacular fashion and get my hand raised, or I’m gonna be in the ambulance.”
Thomas Solorio | Wichita, KS | Laselva MMA & Press 5 Boxing Club | 1-0 (Pro) | Age 30 | 6’0″
Clark “The Menace” Stith
Clark Stith, 29, of Hazelwood, Missouri, fights out of Wolves Den Training Center in St. Louis and is also 1-0 as a professional.
Solorio remembers him from the amateur circuit, and said the two were nearly matched years ago. “He’s a tough amateur,” Solorio said. “He looks like a tough guy.”

The most experienced pairing on the card. Austin Hayes of Lebanon, Missouri, fights out of Arsenal Elite at 6’1″ and carries a 6-5 amateur record into the co-main. He sums up his own game plainly: straight right hands down the pipe.
Holden Wills comes up from Bentonville, Arkansas, and Inferno Martial Arts at 4-6. Between them they have 21 amateur fights, more than the rest of the undercard combined.
