Synergy FC 30 brings fifteen fights to Memorial Hall in Kansas City on Saturday, August 8 — four pro bouts up top, an amateur title on the line, and the second half of a doubleheader weekend that starts with Air Capital Combat 3 in Wichita the night before. Two cities, two cards, one subscription: every bout of both events streams live on MMA Futures.
Featured Fight: Alan Olivas vs. Sean Santella | Pro MMA | Flyweight
Kansas City’s own Alan “Kansas City’s Bad Boy” Olivas (13-5) draws the biggest name of his career in Sean Santella (24-9-2) — a thirty-five-fight veteran of the national flyweight scene. Olivas, fighting out of Glory MMA & Fitness in Lee’s Summit, gets his measuring-stick moment at home: a hometown crowd, Memorial Hall, and an opponent whose resume stretches back over a decade of high-level flyweight competition. For a fighter who calls himself a complete mixed martial artist, there is no better proof than a name like Santella on a Saturday night.

Pro Welterweight: Brant Moore vs. Jordan Christensen
New to the card is a pro welterweight bout between Brant Moore (9-2) and Jordan Christensen (4-3). Moore’s 9-2 record makes him one of the most proven fighters on the entire bill; Christensen steps up at Memorial Hall looking for the best win of his career.
Pro Featherweight: Donte Boose vs. John Williams
Donte Boose makes his professional debut against John Williams (1-2) at featherweight — a classic prospect-versus-spoiler setup where Boose’s clean slate meets a man with pro rounds behind him.
Pro Bantamweight: Bryan Herrera vs. Zack Mendez
Bryan Herrera (0-1) hunts his first professional win against Zack Mendez, who makes his own pro debut — two men at the very start of the pro road, both needing this one.
Synergy FC Amateur Featherweight Title: Amir Nezami vs. Dylan Woosley
The amateur featherweight title goes up for grabs between Amir Nezami (5-2) and Dylan “Lil’ Caveman” Woosley (7-1) of Twin Dragon MMA in Topeka. Woosley brings the best amateur record on the card into the cage; Nezami brings the kind of experience that wins five of seven. Amateur gold in front of a Kansas City crowd — this is the fight that makes a career at this level.
Bantamweight: Cade Wathke vs. Cohen Bane
Cohen “The Rooster” Bane (6-2) of Springfield’s Team Fusion — a wrestler-freestyle fighter who has packed a lot of winning into his first years — meets Cade “Spider Monkey” Wathke (6-3) of Twin Dragon MMA in a matchup of two of the region’s most active young bantamweights. Sixteen combined fights between two amateurs is depth you rarely get this far up a card.
Every event streams live and on demand — full cards, replays, and the archive.
Watch on MMA FuturesBane, 20, is traveling to Kansas City off the first title loss of his career, and he told MMA Futures this week exactly how he sees Saturday: “This is a bounce-back fight and a good opportunity to really put a stamp on a win.” Why leave Springfield to do it? “I’ve never said no to a fight and I’m never gonna say no to a fight,” Bane said. “You could beat as many cans as you want in your hometown — but if you’re not traveling and trying to fight the best of the best, then what’s the point?”
The Depth of a Fifteen-Fight Night
The undercard runs deep with unbeaten records on the line: Richard Dralu (5-0) meets Robert Kelly (3-0) at lightweight in a battle of perfect records — somebody’s zero goes. Brody McManamon (2-0) takes on Parker Hammons (1-0) of Team Fusion, who promises, in his own words, “an action packed fight.” James “Bucky” Buckhanan (4-1, Muskogee, Oklahoma) faces David Clay (3-1) at welterweight, Alan Guzman (4-2) meets Trenton Barr (3-3), and Kohen Schoshke (2-1) of Marathon MMA in Overland Park — who fights, as he puts it, to share his faith — takes on Sabastian Munoz (2-2).
Three bantamweight bouts introduce brand-new faces: Dylan Scribner and Julliain Martinez both debut against each other, Carson Rodick (0-2) hunts his first win against debuting Biak Za Cung.
And the night adds a kickboxing double: Jasmine Pearon vs. Nadia Banther at 115 pounds, and Zane Hester vs. Roman Sheffield at 135.
