DYNASTY COMBAT SPORTS – SEASON’S BEATINGS 2025

“Dynasty Combat Sports Season’s Beatings 2025 event poster”

A Night of Chaos, Comebacks, Controversy & Career-Defining Moments at Pinnacle Bank Arena

LINCOLN, NE — December 13, 2025
Dynasty Combat Sports returned to Pinnacle Bank Arena with one of the wildest, bloodiest, and most emotionally-charged cards in promotional history. The show delivered everything Nebraska fight fans could ask for: knockouts, upsets, championship grit, and a twister submission that will go straight into the Dynasty time capsule.

Fighters from Lincoln, Omaha, Beatrice, York, and beyond stepped into the cage — and the energy inside the arena surged from the opening bell to Derek Minner’s emotional return in the main event.

Below is your full recap of the night’s action.

MAIN EVENT – UFC Veteran Derek Minner Returns With a TWISTER That Brought the House Down

Derrick Minner def. Jacob Ritchie via Twister (Round 1, 2:05)
Minner’s comeback was more than a fight — it was a release of four years of frustration, hard battles, and a career in limbo. When he locked up the rare twister submission just two minutes into the first round, the arena erupted.

This wasn’t just a win — it was a statement.
A reminder of why Minner has been one of Nebraska’s most dangerous technicians for more than a decade.

“Stay loyal to your people. Stay true to your people and good things will come,” Minner said in an emotional post-fight speech, with his daughters watching cage-side for the first time.

This was a perfect storm: nostalgia, redemption, technique… and the only twister we’ve ever seen inside a Dynasty cage.

CO-MAIN EVENT – Nate “The Badman” Morrow Shows Evolution, Secures Guillotine Finish

Nate Morrow def. Ashton “No Chance” Caniglia via Guillotine (Round 3, 1:56)
The rematch lived up to the hype. Ashton made adjustments, attempted to drag the fight into chaos, and even threatened with back control… but Morrow’s fight IQ and grappling maturity shined.

His finishing sequence was textbook:
High-elbow guillotine, hips in, leverage perfect, instant tap.

With the win, Morrow moves to 7–3, including five submissions, and continues to cement himself as one of Lincoln’s most reliable, battle-tested veterans.

“I surrounded myself with killers,” Morrow said.
Precision Combat’s momentum was undeniable tonight — and Morrow kept their streak alive.

PRO FEATURE – Sean Lindgren Remains Undefeated, TKO’s Jeremy Small

Sean Lindgren def. Jeremy Small via TKO (Round 2, 1:08)
Lindgren fought through a rough moment early — a head clash that opened him up — but recovered with composure, relentless pressure, and violent ground-and-pound.

Small attempted to wrestle and slow the pace, but Lindgren’s defense and hips were simply too good. Once he flattened Small out against the fence, the finish felt inevitable.

Lindgren now moves to 3–0 as a pro, undefeated as an amateur, and continues building Wahoo Martial Arts into one of Nebraska’s fastest-rising camps.

TITLE FIGHT – Hunter Harrison Secures KO of the Year Contender With Spinning Back Elbow

Hunter Harrison def. Dr. Andrew Huffman via KO (Round 3, 1:07) – New Welterweight Champion
This fight was razor-close through two rounds. Huffman’s clean boxing opened visible damage on Harrison early. But coming into round three, both were fatigued, both cut, and both desperate to pull ahead.

And then Hunter detonated a spinning back elbow that shut the lights out instantly.

The arena exploded.

Harrison didn’t celebrate — he stalked the cage like someone who expected perfection. And then, in classic Harrison fashion, he picked up the mic and called out Easton Edmond.

At 170 or 155, this rivalry is inevitable.

FLYWEIGHT TITLE – Vu “Vu Two-Belts” Dinh Survives Deep Danger, Retains His Second Belt

Vu Dinh def. Roger Linn via Split Decision (29–28, 28–29, 29–28)
One of the most competitive, technical, and exhausting fights of the evening.

Vu nearly got choked out multiple times.
Roger nearly got his head kicked off.
And both spent long stretches riding the razor between control and chaos.

But in round three, Vu dug deep, secured the takedown he needed, and held on through the scramble of the night.

This was a grinder’s victory — earned through grit, composure, and championship experience.

Vu walks out still the Flyweight Champion, and now officially:
VU TWO BELTS.

EASTON EDMOND – 5–0 With 5 Knockouts, A Star-Building Moment

Easton Edmond def. Conner Bryner via TKO (Round 1, 2:23)
Bryner took this fight on one week’s notice and still scored the only takedowns ever landed on Edmond in his Dynasty career.

But after the early scramble, Edmond adjusted — and once he let his hands go… it was over.

Easton’s power is different.
His accuracy is different.
And the crowd interaction afterwards? Electric.

Then came the backflip.
Then came the post-fight callout by Hunter Harrison.

Dynasty has its superfight.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS & NOTABLE MOMENTS

Dakota Brown vs. Salim Zaito – The Controversy

A war. A classic. A technical kickboxing match drenched in blood.

But the decision (29–28 Brown, unanimous) stunned the building.

Salim appeared to control the center, land the heavier shots, and inflict the majority of damage… yet still walked away without the nod.

Expect chatter.
Expect debate.
Expect a rematch.

Thomas Vasquez vs. Eddie Lankas – Fight of the Night

This was pure chaos, heart, and punishment.
Vasquez’s boxing was the cleanest of his career. Lankas brought relentless pressure.

A split decision?
Nearly impossible to justify.

But both men walked out elevated — and the fans walked out buzzing.

Breakout Performances

  • Ben Rajala with some of the best jiu-jitsu we’ve seen in Dynasty in years
  • Cooper Brandle with a picture-perfect Americana
  • Victor Bedolla with elite calf-kicking and defensive wrestling
  • Isaiah Chavez with a beautiful triangle setup
  • Tyler James with a last-second TKO after chaos and an omoplata transition
