The Midwest’s most electric MMA promotion returns for its hottest event of the year. On Saturday, June 28th, Dynasty Combat Sports brings its signature firepower back to Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, with a 16-fight card guaranteed to shake the cage — and you can stream every moment live on MMA Futures.
This is Summer Kickoff 2025, and it’s not just a name — it’s a statement. This card is built with a mix of high-stakes professional bouts, fierce amateur title fights, bareknuckle brutality, and breakout performances from hungry prospects looking to make their mark.
💥 Main Event: Minner Returns to Defend His Throne
Darrick Minner (26-14), a veteran of the UFC and longtime staple of Midwest MMA, steps back into the Dynasty cage to defend his featherweight title against the undefeated Des Moines standout Brock Hamer (3-0). Minner, known for his relentless grappling and dangerous submissions, enters the cage not only with experience but with something to prove — that he’s still the top dog in Nebraska.
Hamer, however, is looking to write his name into the regional spotlight with a massive upset. With youth, power, and an unblemished record behind him, he could be the dark horse that shakes up the division.
This is a true veteran vs. prospect matchup — and the kind of fight that defines a career.
🧨 Feature Fights Loaded with Firepower
The co-main events are no less intense.
- Nyle Bartling, a former Ultimate Fighter competitor, makes his long-anticipated return to the cage against Corey “King Smilez” McIntosh, a BKFC brawler who brings raw power and aggression to every exchange. This is a classic striker vs. wrestler showdown with serious fireworks potential.
- Bareknuckle Chaos: Omaha fan-favorite Rex Littell steps into no-gloves territory against Lincoln’s Tyler “The Lion” Drugsvold, a decorated striker making his pro debut. Expect blood, aggression, and a crowd on their feet.
- Pro Debut Spotlight: Mike “Copper” Theisen, a former wrestling state finalist and national-level Muay Thai medalist, makes his long-awaited pro debut against Tyler Ashton, a gritty veteran from Team Wildboy. This could steal the show.
Every event streams live and on demand — full cards, replays, and the archive.
Watch on MMA Futures🏆 Amateur Title Bouts Stack the Stakes
Dynasty Combat Sports continues its legacy as a launchpad for tomorrow’s champions. Three amateur titles are on the line, featuring some of the most elite talent in the region:
- Leyton Tuma (3-0), a freestyle specialist out of Omaha, takes on Jareb Huerta (6-2-1), a former MCF Flyweight Champion, in a bantamweight grudge match. Tuma previously defeated Huerta’s brother — now the elder Huerta wants revenge and gold.
- Kobe Lyons (4-0), a state wrestling champ from York, Nebraska, looks to stay unbeaten against the explosive Husham Zaido in a featherweight title clash.
- Mason Dykes vs. Vyphot Keomanivong rounds out the title trio with a welterweight war that could headline its own card.
🌟 Undercard Highlights: Future Stars in Action
From high-level amateurs to first-time warriors, the undercard showcases the next wave of combat sports talent:
- Conner Cowling, a former high school wrestling champ who lost 100 lbs to reinvent himself as a fighter, returns after a dominant debut.
- Edgar Rodriguez, a debuting Kearney striker, looks to bring Limp Bizkit energy into his first bout.
- Chrys Burbine, a well-rounded 2-0 middleweight out of North Platte, seeks his third straight win.
- Tucker Charron, Andrew Herrera, Amir Rasulov, Jadyn Heckenlively, and more help round out the deepest DCS card of the year.
