Location: Pinnacle Bank Arena – Lincoln, Nebraska
Streaming Live On: MMA Futures and the MMA Futures Roku Channel
On Friday, November 21st, Dynasty Combat Sports returns to downtown Lincoln with Seasons Beatings 2025 at Pinnacle Bank Arena – and this one feels like a love letter to the Nebraska fight scene.
From UFC vet Darrick Minner headlining, to local staples like Nate “The Madman” Morrow, to small-town killers like Sean Lindgren representing Wahoo, this card is packed with stories that have been building for years. MMA Futures will be there for every walkout, every scramble, and every finish – streaming live on MMA Futures and the MMA Futures Roku channel.
Main Event: Minner vs. Ritchie – Veteran vs. Veteran
In the main event, Darrick Minner (26-15-0) returns to the Dynasty cage to meet fellow veteran Jacob Ritchie (10-12-0) in a 160-lb catchweight bout.
Minner has made the walk on some of the sport’s biggest stages, but Lincoln has always felt like home. Ritchie is nobody’s tune-up: he’s durable, he’s game, and he’s seen every style you can throw at him. Expect scrambles, pace, and a fight that could swing on one scramble or one mistake.
Co-Main: Sean Lindgren vs. Jeremy Small – Small-Town Gym vs. Old-School Grinder
The co-main event is a perfect snapshot of Nebraska MMA right now.
On one side, Sean Lindgren (2-0 pro) – the Wahoo Martial Arts coach who turned a small-town karate gym into a full-on MMA room with help from Midwest legend Joe Baudler and the new affiliation with Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center. Sean brings a wrestling base, underrated stand-up and a mindset built on pressure:
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a boring fight… whatever situation comes, I’m prepared for any scenario.”
Across from him is Jeremy Small (4-6 pro), a true OG of the scene. Jeremy racked up more than 30 amateur fights in the late 2000s, rode the wave when Nebraska MMA really exploded, and now balances life as a husband, father, glass installer and head coach for the Crete Wrestling Club.
He’s honest about where he’s at – and what this fight means:
“I’m 36… this will probably be my last MMA fight. I’m going to go out with a bang either way.”
Small is still a grappler at heart, with a long history of submission finishes. Lindgren has been sharpening his takedown defense and top pressure for this specific challenge. Youth and recent activity vs. deep experience and old-school grind – this one has “Fight of the Night” written all over it.
Nate “The Madman” Morrow vs. Ashton Caniglia – A Personal Rematch
Few names are more “Dynasty” than Nate Morrow (6-3-0). The Hastings-bred, Precision Combat Sports featherweight has basically grown up inside the Nebraska cage.
He’s built a reputation as a finisher – roughly half of his wins by KO/TKO and half by submission – and he doesn’t shy away from risk:
“I’m not getting in the cage to play patty cake. I’m trying to mess you up as soon as possible and go hang out with my friends and family afterwards.”
At Seasons Beatings, Morrow gets another shot at Ashton Caniglia (7-7-0) – the last man to beat him, and the last opponent he didn’t finish. Nate’s been open about how much that loss has stuck with him:
Every event streams live and on demand — full cards, replays, and the archive.
Watch on MMA Futures“I’ve been waiting a really long time to right this wrong… it was his night. Next Friday, I want it to be mine.”
Caniglia is a dangerous grappler who has also been dabbling in pure striking and even bare-knuckle. Nate is more than willing to trade in the pocket with MMA gloves, but he and his team at Precision have been grinding on the defensive wrestling needed to keep this one in his wheelhouse.
The Emerald, The Doctor, and the Flyweight Killers
The rest of the main card is loaded with local storylines:
- Easton “The Emerald” Edmond (4-0) puts his perfect amateur lightweight record on the line against Conner Bryner (3-2), a pressure-heavy striker with fast hands and a willingness to bite down and trade. Edmond enters as one of Nebraska’s most promising prospects — four wins, four knockouts, and an athletic background that translates into explosive movement and confident shot selection.
- Dr. Andrew Huffman (4-1-0) – yes, an actual chiropractor from Lincoln – takes on Hunter Harrison (4-1-0) in a welterweight scrap between two strong wrestlers with very different life stories. Huffman balances family, patients and camp; Harrison brings a college wrestling pedigree and Colorado toughness.
- At flyweight, Vu “Voodoo” Dinh (5-2-0) meets Roger Linn (4-1-0) in a matchup that screams pace and scrambles. Vu is a collegiate wrestler with Muay Thai and boxing layered on top; Linn is a proven finisher in his own right. Don’t blink.
Depth from Top to Bottom
Seasons Beatings 102 isn’t just top-heavy – the prelims and early prelims are full of names you’ll be hearing more of in 2026:
- Zayden Edwards (3-2) vs. Andrew Herrera (4-4) at bantamweight: small-town Springfield kid with a big dream vs. a .500 grinder out of Lincoln BJJ.
- Salim Zaido (2-1) vs. Dakota Brown (1-2) at lightweight: Lincoln by way of Sinjar, Iraq vs. gritty Omaha experience.
- Ben “The Spider” Rajala (0-0) vs. Justin Dean (0-0) at middleweight: long, slick jiu-jitsu specialist out of Precision taking on another debuting amateur – classic “prospect vs unknown” feel.
- Tristen “Obie” Obermiller (5-5) vs. Victor Bedolla (3-2) and Tristan Reinke (0-0) vs. Kooper Brandle (0-0) at flyweight – the next wave of little-guy chaos.
- Eddie Lankas (1-0) vs. Tomas Vazquez (1-0), Mehdi Abbas Al-waeli (1-3) vs. Artuo Zapata (0-0), and Tyler James (0-1) vs. Austen Forney (0-1) round out a card built to showcase the full depth of Nebraska’s amateur scene.
From small-town gyms to big-city teams, from blue-collar day jobs to late-night rounds, this card is exactly what Dynasty Combat Sports has always been about.
