Venue: Liberty First Credit Union Arena, Omaha, Nebraska

Dynasty Combat Sports returns to Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha on Friday, October 2, with nineteen bouts and four championships on the line. Halloween Havoc spans bare knuckle boxing, bare knuckle MMA, amateur MMA and a trio of youth wrestling exhibitions, and every bout streams live on MMAFutures.com.
Two of the four title fights are bare knuckle, and the co-main was billed at Thursday’s weigh-in as the first bare knuckle MMA title fight sanctioned in the state of Nebraska.
Halloween Havoc Main Event: Houston Alexander vs. Joey Munoz | Bare Knuckle Boxing | Cruiserweight Title
Houston Alexander is 54 years old and has not lost a bare knuckle fight. The former UFC light heavyweight, who fights out of Team Alexander in Omaha, carries a 5-0 bare knuckle record into a title fight against a man twenty-eight years younger.
Alexander weighed in at 201 pounds. Away from the ring he runs the Houston Alexander Foundation, hosts a radio show, and is known around Omaha as “Coach Shock.” His view of the move to bare knuckle is simple: striking is striking.

Joey Munoz returns after seven years
Joey Munoz has not competed since 2019. The 7-4 Scottsbluff fighter stepped away to build a career, and he was direct about what it was.
“Three years ago I joined the fire department over at Scottsbluff,” Munoz said in an MMA Futures interview, “so I’ve been really dedicating myself to the service and getting comfortable there before I jumped back into a cage or a ring.”
Friday is his second bare knuckle fight. The first came on a day’s notice — he was asked to cut twenty pounds overnight, went five rounds, and won the decision. He has spent this camp cross-training at West Coast Fight Team in Seattle and at Genesis Fight Academy in Denver, and he is not treating the age gap as an advantage.
“Houston is a legend,” Munoz said. “He was a mainstay back when I was in school watching the UFC. I don’t shy away from a fight… I’m not here for the easy ones. I’m here for the ones that are gonna push me.”
He framed it as a state affair rather than a grudge: “We’re just two Nebraska guys who love to fight.”
Joey Munoz | Scottsbluff, NE | Average Joe’s MMA | 7-4 | Age 26 | 5’5″ | 203.6 lbs
Co-Main Event: Darrick Minner vs. Sean Wilson | Bare Knuckle MMA | Title Fight
Darrick Minner has 41 professional fights behind him. The 27-14 Nebraska City veteran, who trains at Premier Combat Center and competed in the UFC, meets Papillion’s Sean “Ptown” Wilson for the bare knuckle MMA title. Minner weighed 163.2, Wilson 163.6 — a tenth of a pound apart.
Every event streams live and on demand — full cards, replays, and the archive.
Watch on MMA FuturesWilson is 42, a long-time regional veteran out of Omaha Academy of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who now prefers bare knuckle. Asked about his record, he answered in the only way that matters to him: he has won more than he has lost.
Joey Munoz, who has fought both men, expects fireworks. “They’re both good dudes, they both have a great skill set,” he said. “If you’re watching that fight, don’t blink, because you don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
Amateur Welterweight Championship: Mason Dykes vs. Colby Frith
Mason “The Storm” Dykes is 6-0 and has never been past the second round. The Premier Combat Center welterweight, 27, meets Scottsbluff’s Colby Frith, a 4-5 jiu-jitsu fighter out of Pagsuko Combat Club whose reason for starting is plainer than most.
“I grew up getting picked on and found an interest in MMA,” Frith said. “I found out guys don’t pick on you when they get punched in the mouth.”
Dykes weighed 173.8 against Frith’s 170.
Amateur Bantamweight Championship: Tucker Charron vs. David Stephenson
Tucker “Too Good” Charron defends at 1-1 against a challenger with the better record. David Stephenson, 4-2 out of MAMA in Council Bluffs, came to the sport through 10th Planet jiu-jitsu and Mick’s Muay Thai before switching gyms eighteen months ago and fighting almost immediately. Charron, of Premier Combat Center, describes his own style as thugjitsu.
Also on the card
Jeff Souder vs. Isaiah Robinson is bare knuckle boxing with the best backstory on the card. Souder, 9-3 out of Skywalker 101, played football at Lincoln and three years at UNO, went to a New Orleans Saints rookie camp and left with shoulder surgery. He started fighting in 2006 after a man called out an entire venue at the South Sokol. He faces 19-year-old Isaiah “The Patriot” Robinson of Jackson’s Boxing Club.
Leyton Tuma, undefeated as an amateur and already a professional as of August, meets Casper’s Taylor Martin of Outlaw MMA. Amir Rasulov, 20 and unbeaten, faces Sioux City’s Niman Siidow. Josiah Mobley and Armani “The Nightmare” Webster meet at 190.
Three youth wrestling exhibitions round out the night: Luca Kurtz and Piper Wissler, Jaylee Ingham and Lily Jones, Madisyn Wilson and Madi Wulf. No results are published for youth bouts.
