Air Capital Combat 3 brings thirteen fights to The Cotillion in Wichita this Friday, August 7 — and for the first time in the promotion’s history, every one of them streams live. ACC is the promotion built by Dave “The Caveman” Rickels, who at one point held the record for the most fights in Bellator history, and this third edition is stacked with Wichita’s gyms facing off under one roof. Watch every bout live on MMA Futures.
The Promotion: Built by a Fighter, Packed to the Walls
Rickels is blunt about what he wants ACC to be. “We’re about a fifteen hundred people venue, but it’s slammed. Every bit of it. Shoulder to shoulder,” he said in an MMA Futures pre-fight interview. And about the fighters who step in his cage: “I want them to look back on these fights and go, these are the best days of my life.”
This is also a milestone night for the promotion itself. “This is our first time streaming,” Rickels said. “We really want people to tune in.”
Air Capital Combat 3 Main Event: Trai Santos vs. Jesse James Lee | MMA | Featherweight
Trai Santos
Wichita’s own Trai Santos, 34, fights out of NextGen Fight Team — where he also coaches — with a 2-2 professional record. Santos is honest about his road in. He first walked into a gym at 17 and walked right back out. “It was like this old, never-back-down-looking gym, garage doors opening up,” Santos told MMA Futures this week. “I looked at it, got scared, and went back home.” He came back years later, in 2016, and never left — bare-knuckle boxing, kickboxing, MMA, “a little bit of everything.”
The arc since then writes itself: “I started at EFC here in Wichita, first fight of the night. Now I’m headlining the cards.” And he knows exactly who he’s headlining for. “Probably my grandma, man. She’s just my favorite person on the planet. She always comes to my fights even though she doesn’t really like it — she gets so nervous. But she’s always there, every single time.”
Trai Santos | Wichita, Kansas | NextGen Fight Team | 2-2
Jesse James Lee
Across the cage is Jesse James “The Most Wanted” Lee of Most Wanted MMA in Lincoln, Nebraska — a Bang Muay Thai striker familiar to regional fans across the Midwest circuit. Lee brings the kind of experience and polish that makes him a serious test for any hometown headliner.
There’s history here, too: the two were booked to fight once before and it fell through — Friday is the rebooking. Santos has done his homework and admits Lee is hard to solve. “He’s built as a striker, but all his wins and losses are by submission, so I don’t understand how to get a read on this dude,” Santos said. “But he’s entertaining, he comes forward, and none of his fights have went the distance — just like me. So it’s gonna be entertaining, man.”
Jesse James Lee | “The Most Wanted” | Lincoln, Nebraska | Most Wanted MMA | 3-3
Feature Fight: Andrew Le vs. Olman Garcia | MMA | Catchweight
The story of the night may belong to the co-feature. Andrew “Masked Oni” Le of 31Six Martial Arts fights at a catchweight against Olman Garcia — and Le’s reasons for walking to the cage run deeper than most.
Le’s nickname translates to demons, and he doesn’t dodge what it means. “We all have demons. We all hide behind a mask,” Le said in an exclusive MMA Futures pre-fight interview. “The only time I feel like I can be my real self is inside the cage, unmasked.”
The son of parents who immigrated from Vietnam — his father crossed by boat as a child — Le carries a 1-6 amateur record and addresses it head-on: “I don’t care about being the best fighter. I just want to be the best version of myself.” His father passed away last November; Friday will be his first fight without him. “He’s never been to one of my fights,” Le said, “but that doesn’t change the fact that he sacrificed so much for me.”
Outside the cage, Le holds a master’s degree and works with kids in the foster system, and he credits the sport with changing the direction of his own life: “Martial arts saved me. It can save anyone.”
Andrew Le | “Masked Oni” | Wichita, Kansas | 31Six Martial Arts | 1-6 (1 NC)

Sean Taborsky vs. Guy Gray | MMA | Lightweight
Guy “Smiley” Gray of ThunderCat Combat in Geneseo, Kansas (2-3) takes on Sean Taborsky at lightweight.
Jacob Ricketson vs. Aaden Hope | MMA | Lightweight
One of the card’s most competitive matchups on paper: Jacob “Thor” Ricketson of Barn Burners MMA in Edmond, Oklahoma (3-4) against undefeated Aaden Hope of Wichita’s Alpha Academy (2-0). Hope’s perfect record meets Ricketson’s experience — somebody’s momentum breaks Friday.
Alex Granados vs. Vyshonne Cato | MMA | Heavyweight
More heavyweight action as Alex Granados meets Vyshonne Cato — the second of the night’s two heavyweight matchups.
Dylan Wolfe vs. Ishmael Wangati | MMA | Featherweight
A true crosstown fight, and the only five-round bout on the card: Dylan “Bodaway” Wolfe of 31Six Martial Arts against Ishmael Wangati of NexGen — two Wichita gyms, one featherweight bout, and bragging rights that will outlast the scorecards.
Victor Cisneros vs. Matthew Mock | MMA | Heavyweight
Matthew “Meathead” Mock’s professional debut comes at 41 years old — a 2003 Kansas high school state champion and former college heavyweight wrestler who now coaches kids’ wrestling at every level. He steps in against Victor Cisneros in a heavyweight fight that answers a question Mock has clearly carried for two decades.
